PRELUDE

Prelude serves as the overture to The Ascensionist, summarizing the journey thus far by reworking one track from each of the seven previous RANGES albums. These are not remixes created for novelty. They are reflections, echoes cast backward from a higher vantage.

The artwork introduces the figure who will later become known as The Hero, the central character within the unfolding narrative. His full emergence arrives in the music video for The Ascensionist, but his presence begins here, forming first as a shadow.

The visual language also calls back to AB SA RO KA, subtly establishing the true point of origin. The journey begins here not because it is the first step, but because it is the moment of awareness.

The past is not behind.
It is beneath.
