ABOUT
RANGES is an instrumental post-rock band from Bozeman, Montana, crafting emotionally charged, concept-driven music that moves between cinematic restraint and heavy, immersive composition. Since forming in 2014, the band has built an expansive and evolving catalog of studio albums, live recordings, and limited physical releases, each part of a larger narrative designed to be experienced both sonically and visually.
Every release exists within a broader conceptual framework. Albums are not isolated statements, but chapters connected through recurring themes, visual symbolism, and carefully constructed physical editions. Known for detailed packaging and collectible pressings, RANGES has cultivated a devoted following through vinyl variants, handcrafted cassettes, and concept-rich deluxe editions that extend the listening experience beyond the record itself.
The band has toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, with appearances at dunk!festival, A Colossal Weekend, Post. Festival, and Offside Festival in China. On stage, their music unfolds as immersive and dynamic performances built on tension, patience, and impact.
Beyond the traditional album cycle, RANGES’ work has been featured in commercial and cinematic projects for Polaris, Vans, Winnebago, and Four Wheel Campers, as well as original scores for short films. Whether in a theater, a festival hall, or across open landscapes, their compositions are created with scale and visual depth in mind.
