THREE THROATS
At the gate the beast waits.
Three Throats is a three-cassette extension of Sin built around the image of Cerberus, the dog that guards the threshold of the underworld. Each tape represents one mouth of the beast. Each voice speaks from a different moment within the descent.
The trilogy unfolds across three transmissions. The first beckons. The second devours. The third collects. Temptation. Consumption. Debt. Three throats of the same creature speaking through different chambers of the fall.
The music itself is not contained on the tapes. Instead the cassettes carry fragments of low fidelity drones and spoken proclamations that move like distorted testimonies through the noise. Hidden within the recordings are spoken download codes. Each code unlocks the corresponding RANGES composition digitally.
Each composition is exactly six minutes long and reinterprets the motif introduced in the Sin track Three Throats. When assembled together the three pieces form a single eighteen minute song.
Six minutes. Six minutes. Six minutes.

The voices themselves move through time. First a boy, curious and restless. Then a man, certain and indulgent. Finally, the man has become old, certainty is gone.
The visual language follows the same fragmentation. Each cassette cover reveals only a partial image of a snarling dog emerging from shadow, its teeth and jaws distorted by cascading black forms. No single artifact shows the creature in full.
A single eighteen by twenty four inch poster accompanies the trilogy. Printed as one image and cut into three horizontal sections, each cassette contains one fragment of the whole. Only when the three pieces are brought together does the full image reveal itself.
The cassettes surfaced quietly across three dates. Only through The Calendar would you know.
Each edition limited to 7 copies.
Three Throats is not meant to be heard all at once. It must be assembled. Voice by voice. Mouth by mouth. Until the beast finally speaks in full.
THROAT I
Release Date: 09.09.25
The lure.
The tape carries a single brooding tone. A low presence that hangs in the background like the distant sound of something alive beneath the earth. It is less music than atmosphere. The sound of a place rather than a composition. The sound of hell.
Over this tone a young boy speaks.
His voice is curious and restless, drawn toward a hunger he does not yet understand. He repeats the language he has been taught. That he is meant to follow his truth. That desire is sacred. That the things he wants are signs of destiny rather than warnings.
Throughout the transmission he describes a dog that visits him in his dreams. The animal opens three mouths and growls a name he cannot remember. The image lingers like a message that has not yet revealed its meaning.
The cassette itself contains no music from the composition. Only the tone. Only the voice. Only the download code.
Throat I is the beginning of the hunger. The moment the gate first opens and the listener is invited to step forward.
THROAT II
Release Date: 10.10.25
The maw.
The tone remains low and oppressive. A slow, brooding presence that hangs beneath the voice like heat rising from beneath the earth. The atmosphere has not changed. Only the speaker.
The boy has become a man.
His voice is steadier now. Certain. The hunger that once felt mysterious has become something he believes he understands. He names it purpose. He calls it alignment. What once appeared as appetite now presents itself as philosophy.
He speaks of digging through systems and signs, of studying patterns and convincing himself that the deeper he descends the closer he moves toward truth. Each justification becomes another offering.
The dog is no longer a dream.
The man feeds it with every decision, every indulgence, every small surrender disguised as wisdom. Over time the growl fades. The beast does not need to bark. It knows it will be fed.
The cassette again contains no music from the composition. Only the tone. Only the voice. Only the download code.
Throat II marks the crossing of the threshold. The invitation has been accepted. The hunger now speaks with authority.
THROAT III
Release Date: 11.01.25
The debt.
The same brooding tone remains beneath the recording, a low presence that lingers like heat in a sealed chamber. The atmosphere has not changed. Only the voice has aged.
The man has become old.
Where the earlier voice spoke with confidence and conviction, this one moves slowly. The certainty has eroded. What remains is reflection and the quiet realization of what the hunger has taken over the years.
He speaks of believing he was chosen. Of convincing himself that wanting more meant he deserved more. What once felt like truth now reveals itself as something else entirely.
The dog no longer growls. It no longer demands anything. It simply lies beside the fire and waits.
The old man finally understands that the beast was never his to command. It has been there the entire time, patient and unchanged, watching as the years passed and the hunger was fed.
The cassette again contains no music. Only the tone. Only the voice. Only the download code.
Throat III is the reckoning. The moment the ledger closes and the debt comes due.
